When I get a call from a customer because he is desperate for window blinds as he had just moved into a newly built house.
In a new home where there is nothing at all at the windows, you can feel quite vulnerable to start with while you get organised.
Blinds give you much need privacy
But, in actual fact, it’s actually something that is not thought of until you’re in your new home and you get that feeling, for example, you need shading and privacy and soon you realise what’s missing.
So people can see in through the windows and because your belongings are scattered about the house in boxes making it hard to hide things and also look quite messy.
Even worse getting undressed in full view of your new neighbours can be a little concerning. Forgive my humour!

Fitting blinds to a fibre glass ceiling
In one room there was a rectangular three-section bay window with a 
flat roof over it.
It was not clear what the construction of the ceiling might be to fix the brackets for the blinds.
I made a visit to the site lead joiner who advised it was a fibreglass media above the bay window.
I used special fixings for the fibreglass and it worked out perfectly.
This was something that if someone was doing without window blind experience would possible not of known.
The blinds looked amazing
The customer commented throughout the day how amazing the blinds looked and they were much better quality than he expected.
Also said he was very impressed with the attention to detail I employed and how stunning the blinds looked.
He was very satisfied and paid for the work before it was completed as he totally trusted me and the workmanship.
He advised he would recommend me to all his neighbours and wanted me to come back to fit more blinds in each bathroom.
