We recently visited a customer who was confused about the many types of window blinds that are available.
My customer was trying to choose from an online company that was a supply only and you fit yourself. Therefore, this seemed to be causing her some confusion and uncertainty.
Over a nice and most welcome cup of tea, we got down to discussing the type of feel and ascetically what she was trying to achieve.
From my perspective are we looking at a modern, slick with clean lines?. A homely, cottage with soft flowery or traditional patterns. It can also be executive, cosy, retro or bright, warm fresh or contemporary colours. Therefore, we take into account styling so vintage Victorian colours can also play a huge part in getting the perfect blind for your windows.
We looked at the window styles and although the house was modern looking at the rear due to a large conservatory, the main part of this house was a cottage style. So from the front face, it had some beautiful original wooden sash type windows which worked perfectly.
The cottage had a modern kitchen in contemporary colours. Consequently, it all worked perfectly by linking the conservatory to the cottage style lounge. The lounge hosts a brick fireplace and wood burner stove, thus giving a very cosy and inviting look.
Taking into account the lounge’s new décor my client was happy browsing all the styles of blinds and all the options that were available.
This also included many swatches I showed her that I felt would compliment her room. Consequently, my customer felt that the lounge would definitely benefit from Roman Blinds.
We photographed the room and using our latest technology superimposed the blinds in the image of her room.

My client loved how she was able to view the blinds at her lounge windows and it gave her an instant idea of how it would all look.
