Conservatory Blinds Fitting
Does your conservatory need blinds fitting? The hot weather is amazing, but it also highlights certain problems within our homes.
Conservatories are renowned for being hot in sunny weather.
Believe me, after working for five hours in Mrs Edwards conservatory, I can say I’m cooked to perfection!
Mrs Carol Edwards had ordered her new binds and when we booked a date for fitting we had no idea the weather was going to go this mad. The temperatures hit the highs so far for this year.

The weather was part and parcel of the job I’m afraid we have to gin and bear it.
At least when the blinds were fitted and finished I could go home knowing Carol would have a cooler more comfortable conservatory.
Cleaning The Plastic Window Frames
I started to clean all the frames. Carol had asked if it was something we could do. I set about cleaning the plastic frames with a special cleaner, making sure all the joints were clean and mould-free.
In actual fact, this is quite an important job to do before starting to fit the blinds. Over time frames do get some mould because of the temperature changes in a conservatory.
Fitting Nine Blinds
After the frames had dried I then started to fit the vertical blinds.
All together I fitted nine vertical blinds all black-out lovers, the vertical blind is great for conservatories as they help keep the sun out when closed and heat in when cold, and are made of solid material so not see-through. They let light in when slightly turned and you can also see out through the slats.
The biggest advantage is you can pull them back to have blind-free windows if you prefer.

The finished blinds look amazing. Carol was astounded!
I can say that’s a huge bonus for me, When I’ve finished and all the hard work is done the customer is happy.
This was the second job that I’ve done for carol, she has now placed another order, due to the quality of the conservatory blinds fitting and quality products.

Breakdown Of Job
This is a really nice job and this is a breakdown of what Carol had fitted.
Verticals with split stacking on some and complete side stacking on others.
The large windows are 2m long with a double door entrance are full height to the floor.
The product blackout louvres completely all around in Bisque to match the new decor.
