Dual shade blinds for a conservatory

Customer story explaining why our customer chose Dual shade conservatory blinds

We were visiting a new customer who was deliberating about the type of blinds they wanted in their recently upgraded conservatory.
Martin and Mary were confused and needed guidance on options and the best window blinds to fit.

Vertical blinds were previously installed throughout the conservatory. Having blinds that had to travel a long way to open and close was not the best solution for them as they were very long blinds.

As a result of the excessive movement required over the years, the vertical blinds became inoperable and broken.

BlindsRus.co.uk offers a free advisory service, so Martin and Mary called us to discuss the window blind options. The newly decorated conservatory is light green and turquoise, which looks refreshing and modern.

BlindsRus.co.uk completed a survey of the windows while listening to Martin and Mary’s requirements. Consequently, it was clear they did not want vertical blinds again. Instead, they wanted something more up-to-date, easier to operate, and would also match their colour scheme.

BlindsRus.co.uk recommended the very modern looking ”Dual Shade” blinds, also known as ”Day and Night” blinds. These ingenious roller blinds have two layers of material patterned like a zebra crossing, one dark area, and one light area.

As the blinds are raised or lowered, the dark and light areas crossover, and you can position them to show only dark areas to block the light or only see-through areas to allow maximum illumination.

The blinds can also be raised or lowered to any position while doing this and placed where required. The customer liked this idea but wanted the blinds to match the colour scheme. BlindsRus have a large selection of colours, and we can match and select a turquoise matching material.

We provide the blinds with a cassette-type headrail that looks modern and neat and conceals all the roller brackets, making the whole project neat, tidy, and easy to clean.

The final piece of the solution was to fit ”Perfect Fit” blinds on the two conservatory doors in a light turquoise pleated material to blend perfectly with the Day and Night Blinds. The Perfect Fit blinds fit very neatly in the door frame so that access to and from the conservatory using the doors can be free of any obstacles.

The blinds looked terrific and finished the conservatory exactly to Martin and Mary’s expectations.
