Hi and welcome to our about us page.
Blindsrus.co.uk is a local, owner run business, we’ve been the Retford area since 2017. We’ve grown our range and competence over time and our small, local team of shutter and blind installers includes the company owner and founder Andy. We make it our business to make sure your blinds and shutters are installed correctly and you’re happy before we leave.
Our original founder was Gary, he set up blindsrus.co.uk when he decided to leave his nine to five in search of.a new challenge. Always a keen DIYer, he thought why not set us on my own! And that’s exactly what he did. An engineer by trade, he turned his hand to providing a service within North Nottinghamshire. We actually cover a large area, from Gainsborough all the way down to north Nottingham and everywhere in between.
Over the years we have installed binds and shutters in hundreds of houses. New builds, office blocks, houses that have been around for a lot longer, we have done them all.
After time well spent working his whole life Gary wanted a well earned rest, to spend more time with his wife and children and enjoy a well deserved retirement. He now spends his time fishing, still doing DIY and with his family.
This is where Andy came in, aways keen for a new challenge, he took on BlindsRus and now runs it with Gary offering support when needed.
